Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Her Freedom Abroad is a brand operated by NC Enterprises LLC ("Her Freedom Abroad," "we," "us," or "our"). We help women plan and make an international move, build portable online income, and settle into life in a new country.

This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to www.herfreedomabroad.com, our landing and checkout pages, our email list, our social media accounts, our automated Instagram messaging, our booking and application forms, and our paid programs and digital products (together, the "Services").

Controller / business responsible for your information: NC Enterprises LLC 7901 4th Street North, STE 300, St. Petersburg, Fl 33702 | hello@herfreedomabroad.com

Our operations are conducted internationally. Information we collect is stored and processed primarily in the United States by the service providers listed in Section 4.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact details. Your name and email address when you join our email list, download a free resource, take a quiz, or contact us.

  • Application and booking information. When you book a strategy call or apply for a program, we collect the answers you provide, which may include your current location, where you're considering moving, your timeline, your work situation, your income and savings situation, and what's standing in your way. Some of this is sensitive to you, and we treat it that way.

  • Payment information. When you purchase, payment is processed by our payment providers. We receive confirmation of the transaction and limited billing details. We do not collect or store your full card number.

  • Program participation. If you join a program or cohort, we collect what you share with us in coaching sessions, worksheets, community platforms, and messages. Group calls may be recorded; we will tell you when a call is being recorded.

  • Messages. Emails, direct messages, comments, and messages sent through our automated Instagram messaging flows.

  • Anything else you volunteer, including testimonials, feedback, and survey responses.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage and device information. IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, and time spent, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

  • Email engagement. Whether you opened an email and which links you clicked.

  • Advertising and analytics data. Information collected by advertising and analytics tools, including the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) advertising pixel, about how you arrived at our site and what you did there.

Information from third parties

  • Social media platforms. If you comment, message, or interact with us on Instagram or another platform, we receive the information that platform makes available to us, including your username and the content of your message.

  • Our service providers, who may provide us with transaction and engagement data as described in Section 4.

We do not seek out or ask for information about your health, race or ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or political views. If you share something like this with us in a conversation, form, or coaching session, we use it only to support you and we do not sell it.

3. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • Deliver what you asked for, including free resources, quizzes, purchases, programs, and community access

  • Send you emails, including educational content, updates, and offers you can unsubscribe from at any time

  • Respond to your messages and support requests

  • Schedule, prepare for, and follow up on calls

  • Process payments and keep financial records

  • Operate, secure, and improve our website and Services

  • Understand what content and offers work, and measure the performance of our advertising

  • Show you relevant ads on Meta platforms and other advertising networks

  • Comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations

  • Protect our rights and prevent fraud or abuse

We do not sell your personal information for money. Please read Section 7 anyway, because "sale" and "sharing" have broad definitions under California law and our use of advertising pixels may fall within them.

4. Who we share information with

We share personal information with service providers who process it on our behalf. We do not authorize them to use it for their own purposes beyond what is described in their own policies.

We do not sell or rent your email address or contact list to third parties.

5. Instagram messaging and comment automation

We use automated messaging on Instagram. If you comment a keyword on one of our posts, or send us a direct message, an automated system may reply to you and may send you a link.

By interacting with us this way, you are messaging us through Instagram, and Meta's own terms and privacy policy apply to that conversation in addition to this one. If you then give us your email address on one of our pages, that information is handled as described in this policy.

You can stop automated messages at any time by replying to the conversation to tell us to stop, or by blocking the account.

6. Cookies, pixels, and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to run the site, remember your preferences, understand how the site is used, and measure and improve our advertising.

This includes the Meta advertising pixel, which allows us to measure the results of our ads and to show ads to people who have visited our site or engaged with our content. Meta processes this information under its own data policy.

Your choices:

  • Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies in their settings. Some parts of the site may not work properly if you do.

  • You can adjust your ad preferences directly with Meta in your Facebook or Instagram account settings.

  • Many browsers offer a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. Where required by law, we honor it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.

7. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights:

  • Access — ask what personal information we hold about you

  • Correction — ask us to fix information that's wrong

  • Deletion — ask us to delete your personal information

  • Portability — ask for a copy in a portable format

  • Objection and restriction — object to, or ask us to limit, certain processing

  • Withdraw consent — withdraw consent at any time where we rely on it, including by unsubscribing from emails

  • Non-discrimination — we will not treat you worse for exercising these rights

If you are in California: the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, gives you the rights above, plus the right to know what categories of personal information we collect and disclose, and the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information. Our use of advertising cookies and pixels to show you targeted ads may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising. To opt out, email us at hello@herfreedomabroad.com , adjust your cookie settings, or send a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser.

If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area: we process your information on one of these legal bases — your consent (for marketing emails and non-essential cookies), performance of a contract (to deliver a program or product you purchased), our legitimate interests (to run, secure, and improve the business), or compliance with a legal obligation (tax and accounting records). You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

If you are in Thailand: the Personal Data Protection Act gives you comparable rights over your personal data.

To exercise any right, email hello@herfreedomabroad.com. We will respond within the time your law requires, and we may need to verify your identity before acting on the request.

8. International data transfers

We operate internationally and our service providers are located primarily in the United States. If you are outside the United States, your personal information will be transferred to and processed in countries whose data protection laws may differ from those in your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses offered by our providers, to protect that information.

9. How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy:

  • Email subscribers — until you unsubscribe, and for a reasonable period afterward for suppression and record-keeping

  • Customers and clients — for the length of our relationship, plus the period required by tax and accounting law

  • Call applications and booking forms — generally up to 24 months, unless you ask us to delete them sooner

  • Call recordings — for as long as they are useful to the program, unless you ask us to delete them

When we no longer need information, we delete it or anonymize it.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including reputable service providers, encrypted connections on our website and checkout, and limited access to accounts. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children

Our Services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us at hello@herfreedomabroad.com and we will delete it.

12. Links to other websites

Our site and content may link to other websites and services we don't control, including social media platforms, job boards, and resources we recommend. This policy does not apply to them, and we are not responsible for their practices. Please read their policies.

13. Marketing emails

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any marketing email, or by emailing hello@herfreedomabroad.com . Even if you unsubscribe from marketing, we may still send you messages necessary to deliver something you purchased, such as receipts, access links, and program updates.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top. If the changes are significant, we will tell you by email or by a notice on the site. Continuing to use the Services after an update means you accept the updated policy.
